About The Festival

In 2008 the Festival celebrated its 30th anniversary in style, with an extended programme of ticketed events and even more new venues joining the main festival programme. Local bars, cafes and hotels pulled out all the stops to really bring the festival to life. The town was buzzing and the quality of acts performing was fantastic.

Our thanks go to the Queenstown local business community for the ongoing support and encouragement they continually offer. To the commitment and confidence they have already shown in the planning of our next annual ten day festival, due to be held 17 -26th October 2009.

Our thanks must also go to all the volunteers, supporters, friends and families of those involved in the organisation of the festival. Without which it would certainly not be possible.

The ASB Queenstown JazzFest is a not for profit, community owned event, organised by the Queenstown JazzFest Trust. which is registered under the charities commission no.CC11471.  It could not take place without the support and ongoing funding, by a significant number of NZ funding agencies and sponsors.
