Anantha & The Flatliners or simply 'The Flatliners', as they are known to their fans, are a group of energetic university students who simply love making music. They can entertain audiences from all walks of life, and especially love bringing the excitement and life from Jazz and Blues to the younger generation. At every performance, the Flatliners strive to engage audiences, intellectually and physically - being amongst the most popular swing/dance bands in Dunedin.

They have been together for 10 months, and have played at a number of Balls, events and bars in Dunedin and the wider Otago Region. Elements of the band can often be found playing cheeky street busking performances.

Featuring Anantha Narayanan - alto saxophone, Benjamin Stegmann - tenor saxophone/flute, Peter Meffan - guitar, Jack Devine - bass, and Roy de Hamel - drums.
