Craig Sinclair

Craig Sinclair is a electric/double bassist from Alexandra with a BMus from Otago University (2009).

Craig is a member of the Bill Martin Trio, Resonance Trio in Dunedin and has played many Festivals in the Otago region, including The Dunedin Arts Festival, Dunedin Fringe Festival, The Queenstown International Jazz and Blues Festival and many other smaller openings and fundraisers.

Craig has co-run the Jazz in the Pocket (Jazz Night Jam) at Refuel Bar, Otago University between 2008-2010, played in the Jazz Trio Philtre from 2006-12.

Craig is currently providing Artist and Musician direction for the 2014 Queenstown Jazz Festival and has as a strong knowledge in jazz artists, jazz theory and harmony. Craig's own style of playing is in the style of Jaco Pastorius on electric bass and Eddie Gomez influenced on the double bass.
