The Trevor Coleman Funk Collective bring a night of homage to Motown, featuring classics from the repertoires of Stevie Wonder, Sam and Dave, Marvin Gaye and others, interspersed with standards from the fusion jazz repertoire.
A name of convenience to describe an unpredictable and international line up of musicians expected to jam together on Funk and Motown themes for this late night session at the SKYCITY. This supergroup will be joined by Queenstown singing diva Pearly McGrath and Irish sax supremo, Stevie Rice plus spontaneous guest performers to really make a night of it! |
