Bluestone are a high energy 5 piece band from Dunedin that play a gritty blend of electric blues.

Their influences are broad, from Texas and Chicago artists like Freddy King and Junior Wells, to British bands like Dr Feelgood and Nine Below Zero. Bluestone has got deep and tangled roots: UK band "Saracen", NZ Scarfie band "The Mudflat Houserockers", Kiwi touring band "Frenzy". It all adds up to over a century of collective experience playing live rock and blues, and it shows.

Featuring Clive Coperman - frontman, harmonica & guitar, Mike Beentjes - guitar & blues shout, Dave Young - keyboard & saxophone, Luke Flanders - bass, and Dave Johnston - drums.

They are a versatile and enthusiastic bunch of guys, who deliver the goods every time they perform.
